Secondary Damage

In this picture, you can see condensation on the windows. This home recently sustained water damage from a flooded basement. The water damage was not immediately addressed and condensation built up on the windows. The condensation dripped down to the window sill and caused mold to grow. Other areas of the home were also affected by mold due to secondary damage.

It is very important to address a water damage as soon as it happens. By letting a water damage sit, mold growth can quickly take over and cause more extensive damage. The contents this customer had stored in their basement became moldy when they did not notice they had a water damage for a few days.
